This HOWTO assumes that you have completed the Setting up Trixbox with Skype HOWTO .

1) Sign up for SkypeOut .  Click here to go to the SkypeOut order page.

2) Connect to the web interface on your Trixbox server with /admin after the url.  eg. http://server.com/admin

3) Click on the Setup link and then click the Trunks link on the left hand side.

4) Click the Add Custom Trunk link.

5) In the Outbound Caller ID field enter your callerid information in the format of "John Doe" <1112223333>  (Include the quotes)

6) To support 7 digit dialing via SkypeOut, in the Dial Rules field enter 1555+NXXXXXX  (1 followed by your area code and then +NXXXXXX) Replace 555 with your areacode.

7) On the next line enter 011|. (include the .)

8) In the Custom Dial String enter Skype/any/+$OUTNUM$

9) Click the Submit Changes button at the bottom of the page.

10) Now click Outbound Routes on the left hand side.

11) Make the Custom/Skype trunk the first route in your Outboard Route for local and longdistance. Drop your existing outbound providers down one.

12) Click the Submit Changes button at the bottom of the page. 

13) Click Apply Configuration Changes at the top of page.

14) This completes the setup you need to make calls via Skype Out.  Test by making a outbound call.
