Setting up Trixbox with ENUM for inbound calls via SIP

1) Connect to the web interface on your Trixbox server with /admin after the url.  eg. http://server.com/admin

2)  Click on the Setup link at the top and then click the General Setting link on the left hand side.

3)  Scroll down to the bottom of the page.  Under Security Settings change the Allow Anonymous Inbound SIP Calls  to  Yes.

4)  Click Submit Changes

5)  Click Apply Configuration Settings

6)  Click the Inbound Routes link on the left had side.

7)  If you don't have one already, create an inbound route that includes the 1.  If your phone number is 222-222-3333, create an inbound route for 12222223333.  You can point this route to where you want the inbound enum calls to go.  (A ring group, extension, voicemail box or IVR.)

8)  Click Submit Changes

9)  Click Apply Configuration Settings

10)  Don't forget - if your Trixbox is behind a firewalll, you will need to port forward ports 5060/udp and 10000-20000/udp to your server.

11) Your Asterisk box is ready to accept a SIP protocol ENUM call.  If you haven't already created an ENUM record at e164.org, click here for our step by step e164.org guide.
